Walden University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Brand & Product Marketing to lead the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives for our diverse portfolio of academic programs. The Director of Brand & Product Marketing will play a crucial role in driving enrollment growth, enhancing brand awareness, and ensuring that our marketing efforts align with the university's mission and values. This position requires a deep understanding of higher education marketing, a strategic mindset, and a passion for making a positive impact on students' lives.

Directs creation of comprehensive, integrated marketing plans to achieve University growth goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including admissions, academic affairs, and digital marketing, to ensure alignment and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Define and communicate the unique value propositions of Walden University's programs.

Acts as a Brand Champion to ensure the Brand identity is consistent and compelling throughout the entire consumer journey.

Oversee and manage product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.

Manage and mentor a team of (2) product marketers, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and University goals.

Generate innovative marketing ideas to create increased brand or product awareness, deepen engagement with our consumers and increase brand equity.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including faculty, program directors, and external partners.

Present marketing strategies and results to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

Serve as a liaison between the marketing department and other university departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Works with and provides direction to outside vendors (PR and Ad agencies) as needed.

Complies with all policies and standards.

Bachelor's Degree preferably in marketing or related field, required.

At least 10 years of marketing experience in a corporate marketing or advertising agency environment.

Sharp, strategic marketer with a blend of brand marketing and product marketing experience.

Proven digital marketing experience.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong ability to analyze data and use insights to inform marketing strategies.

Must be willing to travel overnight (up to about 15%).
