Job Description

The Michigan Lottery is looking for a dependable, honest, motivated, and hardworking individual with a positive attitude and strong ethical standards to join our team!

Serves as the program specialist and is responsible for the development of advertising and promotional programs for all Lottery games. Develops and monitors the annual marketing budget to ensure that advertising expenditures are consistent with appropriations. Develops and monitors advertising guidelines to ensure that communications strategies and tactics are consistent with Lottery brand safety goals. Creates alternative strategies for programs based on analysis and research. Serves as the liaison with the Lottery’s general advertising services contractor and digital advertising services contractor. Assists in facilitating internal and external vendor activities including creating and maintaining project schedules and documentation as well as monitoring deployment of campaigns. Delivers reporting and analysis of advertising activities to help determine program successes and opportunities.

Four years of professional experience equivalent to a Promotional Agent, including two years equivalent to a Promotional Agent P11 or one year equivalent to a Promotional Agent 12.

To be considered for this position, you must submit to the following initial background check requirement(s). In accordance with Civil Service Regulation 2.07, you may be sanctioned from applying to positions with the State of Michigan, permanently or up to (3) three years, should you fail to pass/submit to the pre-employment drug test.
