Our Makeup

Union is made up of two main divisions: our commercial department, which has offices in Montreal, Quebec, and Florida. We design and implement floor-to-ceiling lighting packages for clients in retail, hospitality, real estate, and beyond, outfitting their offices and industrial spaces with solutions that are as functional as they are aesthetic.

Our retail and e-commerce departments work within the Carre Union Décor Center, perfectly situated on Decarie Boulevard in Montreal.

  • *Key Responsibilities**:
  • **Order Fulfillment and Processing**:
  • Manage and oversee the entire order fulfillment process, from order receipt to delivery.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and shipping partners to ensure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Monitor and manage order processing systems, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and within set timelines.
  • **Inventory Management**:
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to manage lead times and optimize inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and implement corrective actions to address discrepancies.
  • **Logistics Coordination**:
  • Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
  • Optimize shipping processes to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
  • **Customer Service and Support**:
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure consistent and high-quality support.
  • **Process Improvement**:
  • Analyze current fulfillment and logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • **Technology and Systems Management**:
  • Utilize eCommerce platforms, order management systems, and inventory management software effectively.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology and tools in logistics and fulfillment to improve operations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the systems used.
  • *Qualifications**:
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in eCommerce logistics, order fulfillment, or supply chain management is a plus.
