Job Overview

Shopify is seeking an experienced Remote Customer Support Specialist to provide top-notch customer service to its growing customer base. As a customer support specialist, you will work remotely from your home office and be responsible for assisting customers via phone, email, and chat with issues related to their Shopify stores. This is a part-time position that requires a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to Shopify's customers via phone, email, and chat
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to the use of Shopify's platform
• Assist customers with setting up their Shopify stores and navigating the platform
• Help customers with billing and payment issues
• Document customer interactions in Shopify's CRM system
• Collaborate with other support team members to resolve complex technical issues and improve the customer experience
• Continuously improve technical and communication skills through ongoing training and development programs

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in customer service, preferably in a technical support role
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers
• Comfortable with remote work and able to work independently from a home office
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Proficient in computer skills, with experience working with CRM software and knowledge base tools
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
• Must be located in Canada

Salary

The salary range for this position is between 15 and 30 in Canada local currency, based on experience.
