We are looking for a talented Performance Marketing Strategist to join our team and help manage paid campaigns, specifically focusing on paid social. You will work with the Marketing team (12 people) to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and grow our customer base.

About the Job

We’re looking for someone with a strong grasp of SEM and social marketing tools and tactics and who can optimize paid programs that truly impact business metrics.

Our marketing team functions as a brand protector, strategic partner, revenue generator, customer advocate, and service provider for the organization. Reporting to the Marketing Growth Manager, the Performance Marketing Strategist will launch and manage digital ad campaigns and work closely with the broader marketing and design team.

Please note the preferred location for this role is Victoria, BC, but we are open to hiring remotely within British Columbia._

Some tasks you’ll be taking on

Lead and execute against both prospecting and remarketing strategies across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and the Google Display Network, and manage campaigns to meet performance targets.
Manage our review site program across channels like Gartner and G2 Crowd
Test and experiment aggressively to find winning tactics and strategies to grow your advertising channel performance
Manage relationships with external agencies/vendors to deliver and optimize PPC programs for conversion and spending efficiencies
Collaborate w/ internal and external teams to create and optimize landing pages, ad creative, ad copy, and other requirements for PPC campaigns
Compile, review and communicate weekly, monthly, and quarterly qualitative and quantitative reports on PPC, driving actionable insights for future efforts; communicate best practices and share lessons learned throughout the organization

Ideally, you should have

Bachelor's degree in marketing, strategy, business, or equivalent experience
3+ years experience in a digital/performance marketing role
Experience with Google Display, LinkedIn, and Facebook advertising platforms, and experience with Google Analytics.
Experience with building prospecting and remarketing campaigns across all customer journey stages, from awareness to consideration to conversion, and working with a designer to drive creative performance through A/B testing.
Experience and understanding of a SaaS business model and related metrics
Proficiency in Excel required
