Position Summary...
What you'll do...What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is both strategic and hands-on. You know how to move big initiatives forward, but you also dive deep into the details that make them successful. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who:
- Can manage complex projects end-to-end — from developing plans, setting timelines, and aligning stakeholders to adjusting direction when business needs shift.
- Is fluent in using data to influence decisions, measure performance, and translate insights into clear recommendations.
- Builds strong relationships across functions and knows how to influence without authority. You’ll work with product, engineering, merchandising, finance, and operations to bring subscription ideas to life.
- Thinks creatively about solving problems — whether it’s finding ways to reduce costs, improve efficiency, or design better customer experiences.
- Leads with integrity and a growth mindset, building a culture of collaboration and belonging.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be the engine behind subscription growth at Walmart. You’ll:
- Direct projects and workstreams that roll out new subscription offerings or improve existing ones.
- Create, manage, and optimize plans, budgets, and performance standards to keep initiatives on track.
- Provide decision support through data analysis, helping leaders understand customer trends, adoption drivers, and retention opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build new tools, reports, and customer-facing features that make subscriptions seamless.
- Drive innovation by testing and refining business processes that improve both the customer journey and Walmart’s efficiency.
- Lead and mentor associates, helping them grow while building a team environment rooted in curiosity and accountability.
Why This Role Matters
Subscriptions are more than just a convenience for customers — they’re a way to deepen relationships and create long-term value. This role sits at the intersection of customer experience and business performance. By designing and optimizing recurring revenue streams, you’ll:
- Deliver savings and simplicity for millions of Walmart customers.
- Create predictable, sustainable revenue that helps Walmart reinvest in innovation and Everyday Low Prices.
- Shape the future of how customers shop with Walmart — moving from one-off transactions to ongoing engagement.
- Build solutions that reduce friction, increase loyalty, and unlock new ways for Walmart to serve its communities.
