We're hiring an E-Commerce Manager (B2B Shopify) to join a fast-growing Canadian distributor operating multiple B2B and D2C e-commerce storefronts. The company is scaling rapidly with ambitious goals to modernize its digital platforms, enhance customer experience, and expand its online revenue channels.

This is a hands-on, execution-driven role where you'll manage daily store operations, oversee Shopify Plus migration projects, drive digital adoption, and deliver roadmap initiatives spanning loyalty, AI-driven merchandising, and CRM optimization. Accountability

As the E-Commerce Manager, your success will be measured by your ability to deliver projects on time, optimize B2B and D2C operations, and drive measurable improvements in site performance and customer adoption. You'll bridge strategy and executionturning plans into tangible outcomes that directly impact business growth.

Here's how you'll make an impact

Store & Platform Operations (B2B & D2C)

  • Oversee daily operations for multiple e-commerce storefronts, primarily B2B.
  • Ensure all product listings, pricing, attributes, and content are accurate and aligned with trading priorities.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations teams to manage site changes that impact fulfillment or CX.
  • Support the rollout and optimization of Shopify Plus features.

Project & Program Management

  • Translate high-level e-commerce strategies into actionable project roadmaps with milestones, owners, and KPIs.
  • Drive the execution of key initiatives, including:
  • Shopify Plus platform migration
  • B2B optimization (smart reordering, automated checkout workflows)
  • Loyalty program launches (B2B & D2C)
  • Digital adoption campaigns to increase online order share
  • Manage project cadences, including standups, reporting, and issue tracking.

Email / CRM & Lifecycle (Klaviyo)

  • Manage B2B and D2C lifecycle campaigns, including win-back and reorder flows.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to align messaging with revenue and product adoption goals.
  • QA all campaigns for accuracy in segmentation, tracking, and offers before launch.

Analytics, Reporting & Data Connections

  • Track site and campaign performance using Google Analytics and Power BI dashboards.
  • Support data accuracy and KPI reporting across Shopify, Klaviyo, and other connected systems.
  • Build and validate reports to inform decision-making and revenue forecasting.

AI, Innovation & Tooling

  • Support experimentation with AI-driven merchandising, personalization, and customer experience tools.
  • Translate high-level ideas into scoped tests and measurable results.

Cross-Functional & Vendor Coordination

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and IT/BI teams to ensure alignment across projects.
  • Manage external vendors and agencies, keeping deliverables on schedule and within budget.

Colleagues

You'll report to the Director of E-Commerce and collaborate daily with cross-functional partners across marketing, operations, and IT.

Skills & Qualifications

As an E-Commerce Manager (B2B Shopify), your vertical focus will be in managing B2B e-commerce operations and Shopify administration, while your horizontal strengths will include project management, collaboration, and CRM execution.

To excel in this role, you should have

  • Experience: 36 years in e-commerce management, with strong B2B exposure.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Shopify (Shopify Plus preferred) and hands-on comfort configuring stores, products, and apps.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize deliverables, and communicate status effectively.
  • CRM & Email: Experience using platforms like Klaviyo for lifecycle marketing.
  • Analytics: Working knowledge of Google Analytics and exposure to Power BI or similar tools.
  • Soft Skills: High ownership mindset, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Bonus skills

  • Background in wholesale or distribution environments.
  • Familiarity with Monday.com, loyalty platforms, or AI-based personalization tools.
  • Experience building basic Excel or Sheets-based reports.

Role Specifications

This is a remote role, where you will be expected to work a split shift with some overlap with our client's time zone. You will, however, be expected to be present for in-person training programs during your first 90 days with us.
