  • *About the Position**:

The Ecommerce Specialist will lead the execution and optimization of our online store experience, focusing on merchandising, content strategy, campaign execution, and platform integrations. This role is central to delivering a seamless and engaging customer journey while supporting omnichannel business growth through digital innovation and operational excellence.

  • *Responsibilities**:
  • Project Management: Lead ecommerce-related projects including site enhancements, platform integrations, and feature rollouts in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Merchandising: Manage product listings, categories, and promotional content to ensure accurate, compelling, and conversion-driven presentation across the online store.
  • Campaign Execution: Plan and execute digital campaigns aligned with seasonal promotions, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Content Strategy: Develop and maintain high-quality content across product pages, landing pages, and promotional banners to support brand consistency and SEO.
  • Platform Integration: Support integration of ecommerce platforms with CRM, ERP, and marketing automation tools to streamline operations and improve data flow.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze ecommerce KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, bounce rate, etc.) and recommend improvements.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure the online store delivers a frictionless experience across desktop and mobile, including navigation, checkout, and post-purchase communications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Technology, and Customer Service to align ecommerce initiatives with broader business goals.
  • *Qualifications**:
  • Post secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce).
  • Strong understanding of digital campaign planning and execution.
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM principles and content optimization.
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, and marketing automation tools.
  • Knowledge of Canadian and international data privacy laws (CASL, GDPR) is an asset
  • *Experience & Skills**:
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and visual communication abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting ecommerce performance data.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for digital retail and customer experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Office 365, and CMS/HTML/CSS is an asset.
  • Experience managing online stores and third-party marketplace brand stores is considered an asset.
