Local CDL-A Driver (Amazon Intermodal and Dry Van - 3-Day Week)

• *Position Title:** CDL-A Local Truck Driver
• *Location:** Chicago, IL
• *Schedule:** 3 days per week, 13-hour shifts (Full-Time)
• *Compensation:** Starting at $28/hour
• *Earnings Potential:** $1,120 week based

About the Role

We're hiring dependable CDL-A drivers to haul Amazon intermodal containers and dry van trailers in the Chicago metro area. This is a home-daily position with a consistent 3-day workweek averaging 39 to 40 hours weekly, giving you steady income and more time off.

Drivers average 4-6 containers/trailers moves per shift.

Key Responsibilities

• - Haul Amazon intermodal containers from rail yards and dry van trailers between local facilities
• - Complete 4-6 trailer/container moves per 13-hour shift
• - Follow DOT safety regulations and company procedures
• - Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain ELD compliance
• - Communicate with dispatch and operations regarding load status

Requirements

• - Valid Class A CDL and active DOT medical card
• - 1+ year of CDL-A driving experience preferred
• - Intermodal and/or Amazon Relay experience is a plus
• - Safe driving record and strong communication skills
• - No TWIC card required
