Amazon Advertising Specialist Overview

The Amazon Advertising Specialist is to take ownership of product performance across our Amazon marketplaces. This person will manage advertising, listings, and pricing with one goal in mind: to build well-ranked, profitable, and fast-moving products.

This role blends analytical thinking with creative problem-solving. You’ll oversee campaigns, fine-tune listings, and constantly look for ways to increase visibility, profitability, and sales. Ideal if you have experience with Amazon Ads but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Advertising & PPC (Pay per Click) Management

Plan, execute, and optimize PPC campaigns to drive sales growth and improve earnings from ads and the cost of ads.
Monitor daily spend, keyword performance, and adjust bids strategically.
Identify high-impact opportunities for scaling and budget reallocation.

Listing Optimization

Audit and improve product titles, bullet points, descriptions, and A+ content for better conversion.
Collaborate with the design team to keep listings fresh.
Ensure product listings reflect accurate information, compliance, and updated assets.

Pricing & Profitability

Review competitor pricing and adjust based on market trends and margin targets.
Track profitability per product, ensuring ad spend and costs align with target margins.
Suggest price testing or promotions based on data-driven insights.

Performance & Growth

Analyze performance metrics (sales, conversion rate, organic ranking, ad efficiency).
Identify underperforming products and develop improvement plans.
Report key findings to leadership and propose growth strategies.

Requirements

Proficient in spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel)
Strong attention to detail
Efficient time management
Ability to adapt with changes quickly
Clear written and verbal communication skills
