About the Role
weddings.io is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join as a co-founder during a critical growth phase. This is a unique opportunity to build marketing operations from the ground up and earn equity in an early-stage startup. You'll shape our go-to-market strategy, establish our brand presence, and drive customer acquisition across both B2B and B2C channels.
This 4-month founding role is designed for a marketing professional who thrives in startup environments and wants meaningful ownership in building something from the ground up.
If successful, we'd transition you into a co-founder with promised salary after a certain MRR.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for both B2B and B2C audiences
- Build and manage email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, automation, and performance optimization
- Create and implement social media strategies across relevant platforms to build brand awareness and drive engagement
- Design customer acquisition funnels and optimize conversion rates
- Establish analytics frameworks to measure marketing performance and ROI
- Create compelling marketing content and messaging that resonates with wedding industry stakeholders
- Test and iterate on marketing channels to identify scalable growth opportunities
- Collaborate closely with the founding team on product positioning and market fit
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience marketing B2B and B2C SaaS products
- Strong track record with email marketing platforms and campaign management
- Demonstrated success building social media presence and driving engagement
- Data-driven approach with experience in marketing analytics and A/B testing
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Self-starter who can work independently and wear multiple hats
- Passion for the wedding industry or consumer-facing products
