New Harbinger Publications, a leading publisher of evidence-based self-help and psychology books, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and publicity team. This is a virtual, part-time (20 hours/week) contract position ideal for someone interested in learning the ins and outs of book marketing in a mission-driven, independent publishing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain metadata in our title management system to ensure accurate and timely book information across platforms
• Pull, organize, and summarize campaign performance data for internal review and for author communications
• Assist in the creation and management of digital ad campaigns, including copywriting and light design tasks
• Communicate directly with authors, support campaign planning, gather information, and conduct promotional outreach
