What to Expect

As a Marketing Associate you will join our North York team supporting key brands in the development and execution of marketing plans. You will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, Ice Cream.

A day in the life

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and digital marketing strategies that align with brand objectives, market trends, and enhance brand visibility and engagement
  • Support the analysis of consumer insights and market data to inform marketing strategies and initiatives on an ongoing basis and within the business planning cycle.
  • Support prioritized innovation and renovation projects through the commercialization journey end-to-end, working closely with our local factory
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of marketing programs and promotions.
  • Coordinate and support marketing events, including product launches and trade shows.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in managing relationships with external vendors and agency partners to ensure alignment with brand goals.

Role Requirements

  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration & presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

Preferred Skills

  • A proactive and resourceful approach, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
  • Previous corporate co-op or internship experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams), working knowledge of Nielsen Discover
