ROLE SUMMARY

The Manager, Insights & Strategy brings deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to uncover consumer and customer insights that drive brand growth. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams across an international CPG food organization, this role manages external research partners and delivers clear, compelling recommendations to senior leadership. The Manager stays ahead of global consumer and industry trends to identify emerging growth opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report to the Director, Insights & Strategy to identify brand and portfolio growth opportunities through a deep understanding of global consumer behaviors, attitudes, and needs.
  • Support the development of brand portfolio strategies across markets, leveraging consumer insights to inform positioning and drive long-term growth.
  • Partner with brand, innovation, and marketing teams to define key learning objectives and translate them into actionable research plans.
  • Lead the design and execution of research initiatives, including brand health tracking, advertising effectiveness, and innovation performance measurement.
  • Synthesize insights from multiple data sources (e.g., brand tracking, consumer segmentation, campaign evaluations, and innovation research) to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver impactful presentations and reports that clearly communicate insights, implications, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external research agencies, ensuring high-quality execution, timely delivery, and strong return on investment.
  • Monitor food and CPG industry trends, consumer shifts, and competitive dynamics to proactively identify emerging opportunities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in market research, consumer insights, or innovation research within the CPG food industry
  • Experience working in an international or multi-market environment
  • Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Proven ability to manage complex research projects and translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with experience influencing senior leadership
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and negotiation skills to effectively engage cross-functional teams and external partners
