Role and Responsibilities

As a Delivery Service Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Your main duties include:

Safely transport packages between delivery stations, facilities, and customer addresses.
Follow assigned routes and schedules using Amazon’s GPS and mobile tools.
Load and unload packages carefully and efficiently from delivery vehicles.
Use handheld devices to navigate routes, scan packages, and confirm deliveries.
Engage professionally with customers to ensure a positive delivery experience.
Maintain accurate delivery records and promptly report any delivery or vehicle issues.
Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and Amazon delivery policies.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep delivery vehicles clean and in good working condition.
Report delays, accidents, or other delivery and traffic issues to supervisors and dispatchers.

Required Skills and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift, carry, and move packages up to 50 lbs.
Minimum age of 21 years (per local regulations).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle in varied weather and traffic conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in delivery services, logistics, courier work, or transportation.
Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile route planning apps.
Knowledge of local streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
Ability to manage high-volume delivery routes and meet performance targets.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
