World Wide Trekking (WWTrek) is an international adventure travel company offering once-in-a-lifetime trekking experiences in destinations such as Tanzania, Nepal, Peru, Iceland, the European Alps, and Chile. We are proud to support local communities through our nonprofit arm, Human Outreach Project.
We are seeking a creative, organized, and driven Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team in person. This position plays a key role in our marketing, branding, and trip promotion efforts, and requires participation in daily team meetings at our office.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage engaging content for Email campaigns & Newsletters
- Create and manage coordinating content for Social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Blogs, trip briefs, internal reports, and annual reports
- Write and manage all formal communications and marketing content
- Manage and update the website using WordPress with Elementor
- Use Robly or other email marketing platforms to execute digital campaigns
- Maintain the marketing calendar and align promotions with trip booking cycles
- Collaborate with the team to develop strategies to fill open trip slots and highlight new offerings
- Assist with guest follow-ups and communications
- Support the team with writing, project management, and content creation as needed
- Participate in daily in-person meetings and ongoing collaboration with the team
- Provide administrative and general office support when needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Marketing, Communications, or related field)
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or communications
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Acrobat Pro
- Experience with WordPress and ELEMENTOR is highly preferred
- Familiarity with ROBLY or similar digital marketing tools is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
- Experience in adventure travel, tourism, or nonprofit organizations is a strong plus
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
