The Digital Optimization Specialist will develop A/B test experiences, manage data signals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance digital properties and ensure compliance with platform requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop various complex user experiences on our websites via our A/B testing platform based on defined use cases and specifications
  • Work closely with Brand, Product, and Engineering partners to ensure tests built are aligned with product strategies, business goals, and best practices; act as a SME for all site A/B testing capabilities
  • Develop and execute thorough QA plans for any tests built
  • Oversee the daily management and optimization of data signals to marketing and analytics partners (e.g., Google, Meta, etc.) from our digital properties
  • Ensure all data attributes are accurate, updated, and aligned with communicated business requirements
  • Partner with engineering teams to QA changes as they are made
  • Troubleshoot and support the resolution of issues relating to data signal errors, changes, bugs, etc
  • Develop automated methods to monitor and audit the quality of data originating from our digital properties

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, analytics, data science or related field
  • 2+ years' experience building website user experiences for experimentation
  • Familiarity with tag management platforms and various related tooling
  • Proficient with JavaScript, CSS, and other relevant programming languages to build new front-end user experiences in A/B testing platforms (e.g., SiteSpect, Monetate, Optimizely, or others)
  • Ability to analyze business and technical requirements, translating those into actionable development tasks to execute
  • Strong foundational knowledge of data collection strategies and best practices
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and consistency in all tasks
  • Ability to catch discrepancies and errors before they impact users
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks cross-functionally with various teams and stakeholders
  • Properly translate technical details into clear, actionable objectives
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues related to errors, data discrepancies, or platform compliance quickly and efficiently
  • Advanced experience (custom code writing) with tag management tools (e.g., Tealium, Google Tag Manager, or others)
