We’re looking for a senior-level Growth SEO Strategist to take ownership of SEO strategy and content direction for clients in the tax resolution and tax/legal services niche.

This is not a task-based SEO role. You’ll define strategy, guide content direction, analyze performance, and coordinate execution across writers, VAs, and developers. Our systems are already in place — we need someone who can run the strategy layer and make smart judgment calls.

You’ll work closely with the founder to manage SEO programs for multiple clients, with a focus on content-driven SEO, local visibility, and lead generation (not vanity metrics).

What you’ll do

Own SEO strategy for tax resolution clients (CPAs, EAs, and Tax Attorneys).

Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and Google Search Console analysis.

Build and manage content calendars with clear search intent.

Define article topics, angles, and briefs for writers.

Identify technical and structural SEO improvements and coordinate with developers.

Guide local SEO and geo-focused content strategy.

Decide when clients need updates, calls, or strategy adjustments.

Ensure quality, consistency, and ROI across all SEO efforts.

Who this is for

You have 5+ years of SEO experience (agency or multi-client preferred).

You have a strong content-first SEO background.

You’ve worked with service-based or local businesses.

You’re comfortable owning strategy and communicating directly with clients.

You’re organized, proactive, and able to work independently.

Details

Part-time contract role (20–25 hours per week).

Fully remote (U.S. preferred, but open to other areas based on experience.).

Long-term opportunity with room to grow.

Flexible schedule, high ownership, minimal micromanagement.

If you’re used to running SEO programs end-to-end and want real ownership in a focused niche, we’d love to hear from you.

As attention to detail is critical for this role, we require all applicants to submit a short video (2–4 minutes) answering the following:

Wow you evaluate whether a content idea is worth pursuing before it gets added to a content calendar for a client, or pitched to the client as an idea to run with?

You can use Loom, YouTube (unlisted), Google Drive, or any other platform—just make sure the link is viewable.

Applications without a video will not be considered.
