Part-Time SEO Account Manager (Intermediate Level, Growth Opportunity)

Hours: 10–15 hours per week to start

Growth: Scalable to full-time as client book grows

Role Overview

We’re looking for an intermediate SEO Account Manager to manage a small book of clients and act as their primary point of contact.

This role is client-facing and strategy-oriented, but execution is handled by internal specialists. Your focus will be on client communication, SEO strategy, content planning, and performance summarization.

As the client book scales, this role is expected to scale with it — potentially to full-time for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a small portfolio of SEO clients

Lead monthly client meetings and occasional ad hoc calls

Respond to client questions and issues via Slack

Develop and maintain

SEO strategies

Content plans aligned to business goals

Coordinate with internal SEO, content, and development teams

Track performance and summarize results in clear, non-technical language

Help set expectations and keep accounts organized and on track

What We’re Looking For

Required

2–4 years of SEO experience

Prior experience in a client-facing SEO role

Solid understanding of

On-page SEO

Keyword research

Content strategy

Technical SEO fundamentals

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable working in Slack and on video calls

Organized, responsive, and proactive

Nice to Have

Agency experience

Experience with eCommerce, SaaS, or Shopify sites

Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog
