Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and creative UGC Content Creator to join our digital marketing team in Moncton. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying, curating, and developing engaging user-generated content across our various digital platforms. You will work closely with our marketing, social media, and product teams to leverage authentic customer stories and experiences, enhancing brand perception and driving engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source high-quality user-generated content (UGC) across social media, forums, and other online communities relevant to our brands and products.
- Develop and execute strategies for encouraging user participation and content submission.
- Collaborate with legal and privacy teams to ensure all UGC is properly licensed and compliant with company policies and regulations.
- Edit, optimize, and publish UGC across various platforms, including social media channels, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor UGC performance, analyze trends, and provide insights to inform future content strategy.
- Engage with our online community, responding to comments and fostering a positive brand presence.
- Stay updated on the latest UGC trends, tools, and best practices.
- Work cross-functionally to integrate UGC into broader marketing initiatives and product launches.
- Support the creation of original content as needed, contributing to content calendars and campaign brainstorming.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in digital content creation, social media management, or community management.
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube) and their content ecosystems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in content editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
- Ability to identify compelling narratives and authentic user experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS).
- Familiarity with analytics tools to track content performance.
- Knowledge of Canadian advertising and privacy regulations related to UGC.
- Experience in the telecommunications or media industry.
