CM2 supports Marketing and Customer Relationship Management activities at General Motors of Canada Ltd. The GM team of CM2 is based at GM’s Canadian headquarters in Oshawa; the Digital Analytics Insights Manager position is based in GM Canada’s headquarters, supporting the GM Onstar Brand.

- *Overview of Position**:
The Performance Driven Marketing team helps drive data-based insights, strategy, and innovation from our marketing data (including digital media, website performance, and CRM campaigns) for GM Canada’s Core Brands and Regional Marketing teams. As a member of our PDM team, the Digital Analytics Insights Manager works collaboratively with our OnStar Brand team, taking oversight of their paid media and site analytics to provide expert guidance on results. Your responsibilities include developing the reporting and insights from marketing campaign executions to identify successes and areas for GM Canada and Dealer Partner Leadership teams; working with media partners to develop new tactics and digital marketing strategies along with the methodology to prove their success, and; providing guidance and strategy recommendations to our OnStar Brand team to drive business success.
- Collect, summarize, and drive insights from site, CRM, and media data, developing a holistic view of marketing performance that leads to actionable insight.
- Collaborate with their Brand’s marketing team to recommend strategy, measurement plans tailored to campaign objectives, and identify optimizations using GM’s PDM methodology and KPI standards.
- Leverage Market Research, CRM, Advanced Audience Marketing, and Site Development teams and resources to adapt our strategies and tactics to our customers.
- Develop scalable marketing improvements based on learnings from OnStar that can extend to other Brands and Markets, and leverage learnings and best-in-class practices for their OnStar Brand team.
- Perform in-depth analysis to answer key strategic questions for GM Canada, developing deeper insights into our customer’s behaviours and how best to reach them.
- *Required Skills and Experience**:
- 5+ years of experience in Digital and/or CRM Marketing for a Brand or Agency.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated analytical research capabilities with a high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Client-facing experience in an Agency setting is an asset.
- *Technical Skills**:
- Experience with digital media marketing tools and/or platforms, such as Site Analytics, CRM, DSPs, Search and Social Ad platforms.
- Mathematical training, especially in Economics, Social Sciences, or Statistics is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability with Business Visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) are an asset.
- *Education and Training**:
- Bachelor’s degree: a major in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Sociology are preferred.
- Adobe or Google certifications on site analytics, DMP or DSP, or SEM are an asset.
