Rebalance Vintage

Rebalance Vintage is **an e-commerce store** and **vintage showroom looking** for a **part-time employee **to help expand our growing online business.

Our mission is to reduce the fashion industry's costly effects on the environment. Many people are unaware that fashion is the second largest polluter behind oil and gas.

We help rebalance the fashion supply chain by repurposing vintage pieces giving them a new life. We have saved over 20,000 lbs (and counting) of clothes from going to the landfill.

Responsibilities include

  • Execute all photo-related projects including website product photography (off figure on flay lay) + social media photography.
  • Ensure products are represented accurately by setting up lighting and composition in line with brand guidelines (e.g., ability to mimic natural lighting w/ studio lights)
  • Participating in daily product photography shoots, remotely taking images on an in-studio IMAC while a teammate lays out vintage items on a flat-lay.
  • Inputting data for over 100 items daily into Google Spreadsheets (e.g. product name and measurements of vintage garment)
  • Assisting with social media content creation, including styling outfit grids, placing the clothing items aesthetically on a flat lay, and collaborating with models and influencers.
  • Complete postproduction of product + social media photography, inclusive of retouching, cropping and adherence to proper file naming conventions, within set deadlines.
  • Uploading images and data to our Shopify platform for weekly inventory drops and managing online inventory through stock checks.
  • Managing our online drops making sure they are active and published.
  • Assisting with packaging orders and fulfilling orders for customers, influencers, and stylists.
  • *What we expect from you**:
  • Expert Knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Product Photography of clothing + social content
  • Experience with DSLR cameras and studio lighting
  • Exceptional attention to detail and creative mindset
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Great teamwork and communication skills
  • Experience with Styling + Fashion
  • Knowledge of vintage and streetwear fashion brands
  • An understanding of vintage clothing (e.g., brands, tags, history)
  • Experienced with MacOS + Excel.
  • Experience with Shopify is a strong asset.
  • Order processing, sales, retail, and customer service expertise is an asset.
  • Ability to take direction and collaborating with studio partners.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities, ability to work independently + take initiative.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and frequently stand for long periods of time.

  • Part time in person - 8-hour shifts
  • Available to work from 10 am - 6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
