JOB SUMMARY

Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of Oceania Cruises'global paid media and partnership marketing programs. This role drives the development and execution of full-funnel media strategies across traditional and digital channels, including TV/ATV, OLV/CTV, audio, print, display, paid social, and paid search & performance channels. In parallel, the Senior Director oversees the creation and management of brand partnerships that amplify Oceania's presence within the luxury travel space. As a member of the Marketing Leadership Team, this role ensures that all advertising and partnership activities align with the company's business objectives, guest insights, and brand standards while delivering measurable performance and ROI.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the cohesive, full-funnel media strategy across traditional and digital channels for domestic and international markets, aligning activity with Oceania's strategic priorities.
  • Manage agencies of record and internal teams to plan, execute, and optimize media and partnership initiatives that build awareness, consideration, and conversion.
  • Oversee all paid media budgets, including forecasting, reconciliation, and adherence to corporate budget guidance and authorization processes.
  • Develop and implement growth-driven partnership programs' including media, content, affiliate, and co-branded initiatives' that align with target segments and elevate brand visibility.
  • Partner with the Marketing Analytics team to establish campaign measurement frameworks, assess performance, and drive optimization through cross-media tracking, marketing mix modeling, and attribution analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with Brand Management, Integrated Marketing Strategy, and Creative Services to ensure advertising and partnership creative consistently reflect Oceania's tone and visual identity.
  • Evaluate new partnership and marketing opportunities, providing data-driven assessments and recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of two managers and one senior specialist, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the international advertising lead.
  • Develop scorecards, tools, and processes to systematically measure the contribution of partnerships and media programs
  • Serve as a thought leader on emerging media trends, technologies, and best practices' including AI-driven targeting and optimization to enhance Oceania's marketing performance.
  • Represent Oceania Cruises externally, fostering strong relationships with media partners, agencies, and key industry collaborators.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Marketing, Media Communications, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in consumer media within a corporate marketing department or advertising agency. Must include extensive experience planning media across performance marketing as well as traditional and digital media channels (TV, audio, OLV/CTV, paid social, paid search, print) and 5+ years in a leadership role managing teams and complex budgets. Experience in travel, hospitality, or luxury categories preferred.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and develop actionable insights.
  • Deep understanding of audience segmentation, targeting, and media measurement
  • Experience with data-driven analytics including Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) to drive ROI
  • Proven success in managing large media and partnership budgets, vendor contracts, and financial reconciliations.
  • Expertise in negotiating media investments and evaluating partnership value.
  • Familiarity with current and emerging media platforms, including AI-enhanced tools for audience optimization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
