**Company Overview**
LUS Brands (“Love Ur Self”) is a Toronto-based DTC (direct-to-consumer) hair care brand that’s backed by Y Combinator, Sound Ventures, Comcast and other notable VCs and angel investors.
Since launching in 2017, we have shipped over 4 million bottles of our innovative curly hair care products to consumers with curly hair worldwide and earned thousands of 5-star reviews. Our mission is as simple as the products we create: to encourage people to genuinely love and accept themselves so that their unique beauty can shine through.
LUS brands was built to a significant size in less than 5 years, using predominantly social media marketing. While we have remained almost exclusively DTC for the first several years of operations, this year, we’re looking to expand to new sales and distribution channels.
- *About the role**
- *Responsibilities**:
- Monitor flow and opt-in form performance, optimizations, and A/B testing.
- Assist with lifecycle/retention roadmap and execution
- Work cross-functionally with Creative, Acquisition, Tech and Brand teams.
- Keep abreast with industry, competitive, and market trends and best practices.
- *Required Skill and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- Ability to analyze cohorts for CPG brands and tailor unique marketing campaigns/messages to them.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong copywriting skills are essential.
- Ability to think with both your left and right brain.
- Experience with CPG beauty is a plus.
- Experience in a fast-growing start up considered an asset
- Hands-on experience implementing campaigns through an enterprise ESP (ideally Klaviyo). Shopify Plus experience is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills. Detail-orientedness is also critical.
