Role Overview
We are seeking a Creative & Digital Marketing Manager who is equally proficient in graphic design and digital advertising (specifically Google Ads). This is a hands-on leadership role, not a coordinator or strategist-only position.
This person will manage projects and people while actively producing creative work and managing ad campaigns. Candidates who specialize in only one discipline will not be a fit.
Core Responsibilities
Creative (Graphic Design) – REQUIRED
- Personally create and oversee graphic design work across:
- Social media
- Digital ads
- Web graphics
- Print and brand assets
- Ensure brand consistency, quality, and creative excellence across all client and internal work
- Provide creative direction and feedback to designers
- Step in to execute design work when needed (this is not a “review-only” role)
- Be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign required)
Digital Marketing (Google Ads) – REQUIRED
- Build, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns
- Search
- Display
- Retargeting
- Handle keyword research, ad copy, budget management, and optimization
- Monitor performance metrics and make data-driven adjustments
- Understand conversion tracking, landing page performance, and attribution
- Communicate performance clearly to leadership and clients
Leadership & Management
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and priorities across creative and marketing projects
- Collaborate closely with leadership on strategy and execution
- Ensure projects stay on scope, on brand, and on schedule
- Mentor team members across creative and digital disciplines
- Be accountable for quality, performance, and results
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
- Proven experience in both:
- Graphic design (hands-on execution)
- Google Ads management (hands-on execution)
- Strong understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Strong understanding of paid digital marketing fundamentals and performance metrics
- Ability to think creatively and analytically
- Comfortable switching between creative work and performance-driven marketing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Important: Candidates who are only designers or only digital marketers will not be considered. This role requires demonstrated experience in both.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a creative agency environment
- Social media ad experience (Meta is a plus)
- Basic understanding of SEO and analytics
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
