Courses are delivered by our team of 800 + instructors, all of whom are industry or subject matter experts who are passionate about teaching and learning.Complementing our academic offerings are our English Language Program, Comparative Education Service for learners seeking to have international credentials assessed in Canada, and our newest offering, Blueprint Career Services.Your opportunity:The Strategic Communications and Marketing (SCM) team is responsible for supporting and building awareness around the full suite of non-credit, adult continuing education programs, courses, and services offered at SCS. Our team is energetic, dynamic, collaborative, and is guided by the strategic plan of the school. We work with all of SCS’s stakeholders including leadership, learners, instructors, UofT divisions and partners, and professional associations.Under the general supervision of the Director, Strategic Communications and Marketing, you are responsible for developing a broad range of digital marketing tactics to support various linesof business and initiatives at SCS. You will be part of a team that is responsible for developing and advising on a broad range of marketing ideas/plans, communications and promotional approaches for the School of Continuing Studies that will enable continued growth and position the School to successfully compete in what is now an extremely competitive market. This role is currently eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, pursuant to University policies and guidelines, including but not limited to the University of Toronto’s Alternative Work Arrangements Guideline.Your responsibilities will include: Planning and developing an integrated multi-channel communications strategy independentlyDeveloping and implementing digital communication campaigns and programs that support strategic objectivesDetermining key performance indicators to measure successConducting detailed data analysis to inform management decision makingAnalyzing digital analytic report dataMonitoring accounts for a project and/or program Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.Minimum five (5) years of experience in marketing or communications, with at least two (2) of those years within a postsecondary or industry/upskilling educational programs environmentExperience developing and implementing multichannel marketing plans to support business development and revenue-generating strategies and/or activitiesExperience with search engine optimization to support multi-channel marketing that is linked to registration conversionsExperience with optimizing digital marketing tactics to drive revenueExperience building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and partners of strategic importance and fostering and maintaining positive relationships with senior management to gain approval for strategies and plansExperience advising on best practices and strategies to maximize digital communication initiativesExperience determining smart KPIs for eblast campaigns and Google search campaigns, overseeing in-campaign performance, summarizing results, and making performance improvements for future campaignsExperience developing and implementing social media operational procedures and best practices that support strategic objectivesExperience planning and estimating financial resources required for programs and/or projects, and monitoring expenses against the set budgetExperience compiling and analyzing data, preparing reports and other informational materialsExperience serving as a resource to others by providing (non-supervisory) job-related guidanceAbility to show sound judgement in dealing with confidential information well-informed on applicable copyright, access and privacy lawsAssets (Nonessential): Experience using webinar software and hosting webinar sessionsExperience with website content updatingTo be successful in this role you will be: AdaptableApproachableProactiveProblem solverResourcefulTeam player Closing Date: 06/16/2025, 11:59PM ETEmployee Group: USW Appointment Type: Budget - Continuing Schedule: Full-TimePay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:USW Pay Band 14 -- $90,056. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $115,169.
