Communications and Marketing Manager

Key areas of work/deliverables

· Lead proactive media outreach and build strong relationships to secure high impact coverage across key titles.

· Research, write and edit engaging press releases, articles and media content that tell the organisation's story in a fresh and creative way.

· Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all channels, with a focus on updating content on the website and intranet.

· Work with internal teams and partner organisations to produce impactful case studies that demonstrate the impact of the Trust's work.

Experience/Skills

Experience in media relations and PR: A solid foundation in PR and media relations is essential.

Strong communication and writing skills: Excellent writing and editing skills with experience of crafting compelling stories, press releases and materials that resonate with target audiences.

Digital media proficiency: Familiarity with social media platforms, intranet platforms and websites.

Relationship building skills: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to deliver effective communications campaigns.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £20.79 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
