We’re expanding our brand & engagement marketing team and seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Strategist to help elevate our brand presence across all major platforms.

About The Role

The Social Media Strategist will own and lead DermCare’s social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube — with a focus on building brand presence across North Carolina, South Florida, and Virginia clinic locations. You will plan, create, and execute organic and paid social strategies that fuel brand growth, deepen patient connections, and drive measurable engagement.

You’ll work closely with the Brand & Engagement Marketing team, content creators, and clinic staff to ensure our social presence is authentic, impactful, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage DermCare Practices' overall social media strategy, aligning it with marketing initiatives, brand goals, and key business objectives.

Create and manage the social content calendar, ensuring consistent posting across platforms.

Bridge brand objectives and social trends, creating content that resonates with local and regional audiences.

Craft compelling social media copy tailored for different platforms and regional demographics.

Monitor and engage with social media audiences daily, responding to comments and participating in relevant conversations.

Identify and jump into cultural and trending moments with authenticity, while recognizing when to sit them out.

Collaborate with content specialists to capture on-site social moments during clinic visits to North Carolina, South Florida, and Virginia.

Track, measure, and analyze social media performance, providing regular reports and data-driven recommendations.

Propose and experiment with new content formats (Reels, TikToks, Lives, Stories) to drive engagement.

Stay current on platform updates, best practices, and emerging trends in the social media and aesthetics/healthcare space.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing brand social media strategy and content creation (healthcare, aesthetics, or multi-location business experience preferred).

Proven success growing and managing engaged communities across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills for social platforms.

Experience collaborating with creative and content production teams.

Ability and willingness to travel regularly to North Carolina, South Florida, and Virginia clinic locations.

Proficiency with tools like Canva, Later, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator Studio, and other social scheduling platforms.

Familiarity with paid social strategies and boosting organic posts is a plus.

Strong organization, communication, and time-management skills.

Self-starter with a proactive, collaborative approach to work.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
