Accent Aigu Entertainment is a Toronto-based film and television production company committed to bold storytelling and immersive audience experiences. Our series Heated Rivalry has captivated audiences across Canada and internationally. As we grow our brand and community, we’re expanding our team with a dedicated Merchandise & E-Commerce Manager to lead our Heated Rivalry merchandise strategy and execution.
This role sits within AAE but is focused on all things Heated Rivalry merchandise — from Shopify operations and fulfillment logistics to creative product strategy and vendor partnerships.
Role Overview
You will be the architect and operator of Heated Rivalry’s merchandise world. You’ll build, manage, and grow our direct-to-consumer shop on Shopify. You’ll work across creative, operational, and strategic domains — from conceptualizing products and launch campaigns to overseeing fulfillment, vendor coordination, inventory forecasting, and performance analytics.
This is a hands-on role that requires a blend of e-commerce experience, creative thinking, strategic planning, and flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
Merchandise Strategy & Creative
- Partner with internal and external creative teams to conceive compelling products that reflect the Heated Rivalry brand.
- Participate in product direction sessions from concept to mock-ups to prototypes.
- Develop seasonal launch plans, cadence, and pricing strategy.
Shopify Operations
- Manage all aspects of the Shopify store: products, collections, variants, inventory, discounts, bundles, and SEO.
- Execute merchandise launches, coordinate calendars, assets, descriptions, and rollout with internal and external partners.
- Maintain consistent store polish and excellent user experience.
- Answer all Customer Service emails and from order fulfilment to product inquiries.
Fulfillment, Shipping & Logistics
- Own fulfillment operations end-to-end, including order processing, tracking, returns/exchanges, and stock forecasting.
- Manage logistics relationships with Canada Post, DHL, FedEx, UPS, and other carriers.
- Negotiate shipping rates, terms, and service agreements with carriers to optimize cost, speed, and reliability.
- Work with internal and external warehouses/3PLs to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely delivery.
- Troubleshoot fulfillment breakdowns and customer delivery issues.
Vendor & Partner Relations
- Source and manage relationships with vendors: printers, manufacturers, fulfillment houses, packaging suppliers, and licensed partners.
- Negotiate rates, quality standards, lead times, and contracts.
Marketing & Cross-Functional Execution
- Work with digital media and marketing partners on promotional campaigns (social, email, paid ads) and product launches.
- Supply merchandise reporting, ecommerce insights, and performance metrics to the broader team.
- Ensure promotions, sales events (e.g., Boxing Day Sale), and limited-edition drops align with creative and marketing deliverables.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of e-commerce experience (including Shopify management) — required.
- Experience with fulfillment workflows, inventory forecasting, and vendor coordination — essential.
- Strong understanding of direct-to-consumer merchandising and product lifecycle.
- Comfortable working in a creative/production environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator — able to work with in-house teams, external partners, and designers.
- Data-driven mindset — able to pull reports, interpret trends, and make strategy suggestions.
- Bonus: Film & TV merchandise experience (not required, but a benefit).
