We are in search of a talented **Digital Media Coordinator** to join our remote team and be part of a community-driven movement that’s all about our makers, their stories, and beautiful, handmade products.

  • *ROLE OVERVIEW**

The Digital Media Coordinator creates and manages the overall look and feel of various types of content and posts on The Nooks social media profiles and online platforms. Their job is to ensure that all the marketing materials have a consistent design and to determine the best way to present those concepts to a target audience, with the goal to convert followers into customers. It’s crucial for a Digital Media Coordinator to be up to date with current marketing trends so that they can create visual content that tells our makers’ stories and generates conversions and sales.

  • *RESPONSIBILITIES**
  • Determine the best solutions for crafting relevant and valuable posts for different social media channels, following The Nooks social media strategy
  • Design high-quality and attention-grabbing electronic and printed materials for use on social media, NookSTART app, store displays, publications, marketing materials, websites, and other channels that maintain brand consistency and professionalism
  • Create and produce video, JPEGs, PDFs, clip art, graphs, charts, thumbnail images, and other design elements that are visually compelling and present valuable information about The Nooks and our makers in a compelling way and reflect the vision and message of The Nooks brand, enabling followers to relate and build a relationship with our business and makers
  • Coordinate and maintain a library of graphics, media, digital records, and other marketing content
  • Measure key performance indicators and provide performance reports to The Nooks Management team
  • Participate in marketing strategic planning meetings on a project-by-project basis
  • Engage with customers and prospective makers on social media by responding to messages and commenting on our makers’ posts to increase brand awareness and encourage community engagement with The Nooks
  • *REQUIREMENTS**
  • 1+ year of direct work experience as a graphic designer and social media content creator
  • 1+ year direct work experience working with social media in a coordinator position
  • Proficient in the use of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
  • Well versed in the latest graphic design methods, practices, techniques, and associated principles
  • Solid design and conceptual skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective deadline management and project management skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret key performance indicators and trends
  • Strong interpretive skills to analyze technical information and create illustrations
  • **Ability to work remotely. Must have access to reliable internet connection**
