Location: Mississauga , ON (Hybrid 3 days from office 2 days from Home)
Compensation : $130,000 to $150,000 + 15% Performance- based Annual bonus
Start Date: January 2026

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Director of eCommerce to lead our digital growth initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive eCommerce strategy across North America, driving performance through direct-to-consumer channels, marketplaces, and omnichannel platforms.
About You
You are a strategic and innovative leader with a proven ability to scale eCommerce operations and deliver measurable growth. You excel at leveraging technology, data, and consumer insights to create seamless online experiences and maximize revenue. Your expertise spans eCommerce platforms, digital marketing, and analytics, and you bring a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams. You’re comfortable influencing stakeholders and managing complexity in a fast-paced environment. Experience in pet food or CPG is a strong asset, and you’re passionate about building brands that pet parents’ trust.
Role Overview
The Director of eCommerce is responsible for driving the organization’s digital commerce strategy, ensuring a seamless online customer experience, and maximizing revenue through all eCommerce channels. This role combines strategic leadership with operational excellence, overseeing website performance, digital marketing, and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the eCommerce strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth through innovative online sales initiatives and P&L management.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, IT, Operations, Supply Chain) for seamless execution.
- Identify and integrate emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Lead and mentor the eCommerce team to achieve KPIs and growth targets.
- Implement pricing strategies, promotions, and bundling to maximize profitability.
- Commercialization & optimize product assortment for the eCommerce channel
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and maintain cybersecurity standards.
- Align eCommerce operations with supply chain for timely delivery and inventory accuracy.
- Prepare detailed dashboards and reports for executive leadership on KPIs and ROI.
Recipe for Success
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in eCommerce or Digital/Omnichannel leadership roles.
- Experience with Amazon or Chewy.com account management is an asset.
- Strong understanding of online sales platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing strategies.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through eCommerce channels.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
