E-commerce & Digital Marketing Assistant

Take it Outside (and related companies) are looking for an **E-commerce & Digital Marketing Assistant**. This position will oversee growth by implementing strategies and tactics that grow our followers, engage/retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promoters of our companies.

You will need to assist the IT & Shopify Specialist for ensuring that the e-commerce portion of our retail brands are functioning and performing at an optimal level. It is important that our online experiences reflect our brand purpose, culture and values. Ecommerce must achieve sales targets and constantly strive to increase growth in the community. We strive to be forward-thinking, constantly refining with maximum efficiency.

This position requires a results driven and progress focused team member.

Reporting to both the IT & Shopify Specialist (ITSS) and the Digital Marketing Specialist(DMS), this position will be essential to both ecommerce and branding as a unique retail destination.

Key outcomes will be to work with the ITSS and DMS to:

Ensure product data is entered accurately in [.xlsm and.csv] and PO in system within 7 days of arrival in store/warehouse

Ensure product is organized for efficient entry when delivered. Coordinate with staff to add brand & date on boxes upon arrival

Prepare spreadsheets for Stock entry and PO entry before the products arrive at any Retail locations

Source brand images & content for ecommerce platforms

Coordinate and/or take custom photos and videos for ecom and social for all products coming into the stores within 7 days of arrival

Make sure all products are up-to-date in the system, including “Last Chance” products.

Produce digital, written and video content for social & ecommerce platforms

Work closely with coworkers, retail managers, ambassador team and influencers to ensure variety of content

Work with team to create fun through product promotion on ecommerce sites, in store via events & workshops

Other duties as required to ensure continued success
