Digital Marketing Coordinator
Sims Advertising**SUMMARY**
Are you looking to bring your digital marketing skills to an agency environment? Sims Advertising, located in Burlington, is looking for a new digital marketing coordinator to assist with one of our key accounts - GE Appliances Canada.
You will be responsible for managing 3 key areas of the GE Appliances Canada digital marketing initiatives: Content management, community management and consumer reviews. In this role, you will support digital marketing efforts by being the gatekeeper of digital assets, maintaining the media library, and liaising with internal and external parties to ensure all brands are represented with the best content. You will also be responsible for social media community management across GE Appliances’ digital platforms.
Working closely with the consumer reviews partner, you will work to expand the scope of GE’s rate and review program across the brand websites. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge in the digital marketing space by assisting in digital audits to help ensure GE is providing their consumers with the best digital experiences possible.
- *RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- *Content Management**
- Be the main point of contact for digital marketing assets and content, including media library management.
- Manage content libraries and social media platforms to identify, download, and package up digital assets to share with internal teams and retailers.
- Assist the assistant digital marketing manager in overall social media management, including but not limited to, tagging and pinning content, developing organic calendars, and porting blog content.
- *Community Management**
- Own community management for social media platforms across GE’s brands, including escalation of consumer feedback to appropriate counterparts and engaging and interacting with consumer comments.
- Act as a representative of the GE house of brands to manage consumer feedback professionally and in a timely manner.
- *Consumer Reviews**
- Responsible for the ratings and review program, including but not limited to finding ways to positively increase the number and quality of consumer reviews across brand websites.
- *Other Responsibilities**
- Conduct regular audits across competitors’ social media platforms and websites and report on key findings.
- Complete regular reviews of owned brand websites reviewing the UX and overall consumer experience.
- Assist in general digital marketing activities to help ensure successful campaign launches, and digital consumer interactions.
- Stay up to date with digital marketing and social media trends.
- Plus additional relevant responsibilities, as required.
- *EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:
- Degree in digital marketing, marketing, advertising, communications or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of digital marketing, content marketing, asset management and social media management
- Past work experience showcasing professionalism and proficiency when engaging with consumers' feedback and complaints
- Accuracy, attention to detail and a natural propensity towards staying highly organized are a must
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of appliances is considered an asset
- Fluency in Photoshop is considered an asset
- *This is a one-year contract position.**
- *Salary range: $50,000-$60,000**
- *Hours are full-time: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm**
- *Partially Remote (Hybrid Home / Office Schedule)**
Interviews may be conducted via zoom; however, in-office interviews may be required.
