Digital Media & Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a creative and dependable Marketing & Content Creation Assistant to help produce photos, videos, and social media content for local businesses. This is a hands-on, part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys capturing content, editing simple videos, and supporting digital marketing projects. Most work is remote and flexible, with occasional visits to client locations for photo/video shoots.

Responsibilities

• Visit client locations to capture photos and short-form videos for marketing use
• Assist with social media content creation for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
• Help plan and organize content calendars
• Edit basic video clips (simple cuts, text overlays, basic cleanup)
• Create graphics or flyers using Canva or similar tools
• Organize, label, and upload media files for marketing campaigns
• Communicate professionally with clients during on-site shoots
• Support general digital marketing and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Interest or experience in digital marketing, content creation, photography, or videography
• Ability to take clear photos/videos using a phone or camera
• Strong communication skills and reliable work habits
• Access to reliable transportation for occasional client visits
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Filmora, Adobe, or similar tools
• Previous content creation or social media management experience
• Comfort speaking with business owners and staff during shoots

Schedule
