Key Responsibilities for a Business & Marketing Assistant

  • Handling calls, emails and general correspondence
  • Managing databases, filing systems and purchasing
  • Supporting stock management, goods-in checks and quality control
  • Drafting job worksheets and scheduling installations
  • Organising diaries, appointments and reminders
  • Creating social media content, blogs and case studies
  • Researching and contacting potential new customers

Key Skills for a Business & Marketing Assistant

  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic numeracy
  • Creative, proactive and able to multitask in a busy environment
  • Social media savvy
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
