Indigo Digital Press Field Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce is immediately adding a full-time Indigo Digital Press Field Technician in support of our nationally recognized, Consumer and Commercial Electronic R&D client in Greensboro, NC. This is a field-based role with 80% travel to customer sites. The main area of coverage will be in the Greensboro, NC area. Travel distances will range locally throughout NC & SC areas.

Summary

This role is for a Field Service Technician specializing in Company Indigo Digital Printing Presses. In this role, you will be the face of Company for our customers, delivering exceptional on-site service, diagnostics, and repairs. You'll work in the greater Greensboro, NC area and beyond, traveling to customer sites to ensure their digital printing solutions run flawlessly. This is more than a technical role - it's about building trust, solving problems, and keeping businesses moving, while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels and addressing customer-related issues promptly.

What You'll Do

• Install & Configure: Set up Company Indigo Digital Printing presses, including hardware, software, and network components
• Maintain & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues
• Customer Training: Educate customers on proper usage, color management, and best practices
• Project Execution: Follow installation and escalation plans to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Proactive Support: Use monitoring tools to identify and prevent potential issues before they impact operations
• Customer Engagement: Provide clear updates, resolve concerns promptly, and maintain high satisfaction levels

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
• Typical candidate possesses 4-6 years in field service, technical support, or printing press repair (Company experience preferred)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Specialized Skills: Company Indigo knowledge; Printing industry knowledge; Ability to integrate hardware/software solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
