About the position

IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Transformation Integration Directorate Army Golden Dome for America (TID AGDA) Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Job Responsibilities

  • \tThe candidate will assist and coordinate with the Department of War, Joint Force, Army, and Combatant Commands
  • \tCoordinate with the Missile Defense Agency and the Program Acquisition Executive Fires office for fielding of air and missile defense systems for strategic homeland defense.
  • \tThey will assist Transformation Integration Directorate Army Golden Dome for America (TID AGDA) TID AGDA in the analysis and approach to integrate strategic missile defense Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership & Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy( ) Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership & Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) products and Materiel Developer fielding plans with the development and implementation of strategic missile defense policies and capabilities.
  • \tThe candidate will provide support that focuses on the formulation and periodic assessment/reassessment of strategic goals and plans to achieve them, including themes, messages, and audiences, as well as presentation support, i.e., PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets.
  • \tThis effort requires analysis of the strategic air and missile defense environment and strategic partnerships with key organizations.
  • \tThe candidate will assist the Government and attend selected meetings and conferences. These activities include attendance at working group level and senior leader level meetings, assistance to the combat developer in the development of force structure documents, and coordination with Army Staff, particularly the Army G3/G8, Joint Staff, and Office of the Secretary of War (OSW).
  • \tCandidate should be a self-starter and be able to handle multiple tasks.
  • \tWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Required Experience

  • \tMaster’s degree from an accredited college with 12 years of relevant experience.
  • \tSeven (7) years of Army Staff experience, preferably supporting G3/5/7 and/or Army G8
  • \tPractical and theoretical mastery in the project process, business, or technical domain
  • \tExceptional written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others
  • \tProficiency in Microsoft Office products

Desired Experience

  • \tTen (10) or more years of experience providing expert advice and technical direction on complex problems and processes related to regional and strategic missile defense
  • \tThorough understanding of the DoD acquisition process
  • \tTechnical, operational planning, and analytical experience for the integration of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) elements into the Army and global missile defense organizations and facilities
  • \tStrategic-level missile defense experience
  • \tProject basis of estimate and schedule development skills
  • \tArmy/Joint/DoD Staff experience preferred

Security Clearance: Must have a TS/SCI for this position. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.

Travel: Position may require up to 25% travel

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college with 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Seven (7) years of Army Staff experience, preferably supporting G3/5/7 and/or Army G8
  • Practical and theoretical mastery in the project process, business, or technical domain
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Must have a TS/SCI for this position. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ten (10) or more years of experience providing expert advice and technical direction on complex problems and processes related to regional and strategic missile defense
  • Thorough understanding of the DoD acquisition process
  • Technical, operational planning, and analytical experience for the integration of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) elements into the Army and global missile defense organizations and facilities
  • Strategic-level missile defense experience
