Position Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Social Media to lead the development and execution of our social media strategy across all channels. This role blends creative storytelling with data driven decision-making, team leadership, and a deep understanding of what it takes to build a passionate, loyal community online. You’ll oversee our social media presence, manage a small but growing team, collaborate cross-functionally with content, brand, influencer, and performance marketing teams, and ensure that content delivers on brand objectives.

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across social platforms.
  • Align social content with broader marketing, product, and campaign goals.
  • Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to keep the brand fresh and relevant.

Content & Community

  • Lead the social content calendar and oversee the creation of high-performing, on-brand content that resonates with our audiences.
  • Partner with creative teams, agencies, and internal stakeholders to concept, produce, and optimize content.
  • Manage community engagement and social listening—ensuring the brand’s tone and personality shine through every interaction.
  • Identify opportunities for UGC (user-generated content) and influencer collaborations.

Performance & Optimization

  • Define KPIs, track performance, and translate insights into actionable strategies to continuously improve reach, engagement, and ROI.
  • Work with analytics and performance marketing teams to test, learn, and optimize social campaigns.
  • Report regularly on social performance, key learnings, and competitive insights.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of social media professionals.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Influencer, and Paid teams to ensure a cohesive brand experience across channels.
  • Advocate for innovation and help define what “best-in-class” social looks like for Good Ranchers.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in social media marketing, with prior people management.
  • Proven success building and executing social media strategies for a consumer brand (DTC experience preferred).
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, analytics tools, and content best practices.
  • Strong creative instincts—you know how to make content feel on-brand and engaging.
  • Analytical mindset and comfort in translating data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
