**Overview**

Cherrypick is a fast-growing kids’ lifestyle brand on a mission to make every space a happy place. We create playful products and modern kids' decor, including our flagship product, the Magic Playwall - a magnetic arch wall decal that doubles as a whiteboard/chalkboard.

We’re looking for an experienced **Operations & Logistics Lead** to take ownership of our supply chain and operations end to end. In this role, you’ll work alongside the Founder to lead everything from supplier sourcing and negotiations to demand planning, freight optimization, and fulfillment operations across our US and Canadian warehouses. You’ll be the engine behind ensuring our products flow seamlessly from concept to customer and play a critical role in fueling Cherrypick’s next stage of growth.

  • *Responsibilities**
  • *1. Inventory Planning & Product Lifecycle**
  • Analyze sales data to guide product lifecycle decisions (e.g., discontinue, reorder, scale)
  • Develop demand forecasting processes by country (US/Canada)
  • Lead inventory planning and reorder cadence across multiple warehouses
  • Own end-to-end inventory management of finished goods
  • *2. Product Development & Sourcing**
  • Source and vet new suppliers for playful product innovations (samples, pricing negotiation, MOQs, quality control)
  • Manage existing supplier relationships and communications
  • Explore alternate suppliers for cost or quality improvements
  • Own product costing, negotiations, and margin optimization
  • Optimize freight and shipping strategy from overseas suppliers to North American warehouses, evaluating FCL vs. air/partial shipments, staying on top of pricing trends, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • *3. Logistics & Fulfillment**
  • Lead day-to-day communication and relationship management with US 3PL
  • Troubleshoot ongoing shipping and fulfillment issues
  • Audit 3PL invoices regularly to verify accuracy and ensure competitive shipping rates
  • Evaluate and oversee potential 3PL transitions with cost-benefit and operational impact analysis
  • Oversee operations at the Canadian warehouse, ensuring storage optimization, fulfillment efficiency, and appropriate staffing levels to support business needs
  • Monitor evolving tariff regulations and assess their impact on landed costs, logistics decisions, and overall profitability.
  • *4. Systems & Process Building**
  • Build scalable systems and SOPs across sourcing, logistics, and operations.
  • Standardize manufacturing and inventory processes across teams and tools.
  • *5. Other Potential Projects Including**
  • Ensure product and shipping readiness for wholesale and marketplace partners
  • Support in managing wholesale purchase orders when needed
  • Set up and onboarding with new wholesale and marketplace platforms
  • *Who You Are**

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in DTC eCommerce, operations, logistics, or supply chain
  • Proficiency with key tools and platforms such as Shopify, ShipHero, Slack
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with a growth mindset, bringing a strong sense of ownership and the initiative to drive projects forward independently
  • Hands-on and proactive, equally comfortable diving into the details as you are stepping back to think strategically about the bigger picture
  • Analytical and solutions-oriented, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and improve processes
  • Bonus: Passionate about the kids lifestyle space or at the least, curious and excited about trends and audiences in this market

  • Remote-first, flexible work environment that empowers you to manage your own schedule while delivering results
  • **Preferred**:Based in the GTA with availability to work from our warehouse in Mississauga at least once a week
