About the team and position

Carvana's Market Operation department thrives in a fast-paced environment where bright individuals can roll up their sleeves, mentor, and develop team members.

The Team Lead, in our Market Operations group, oversees the local Carvana hub, managing market launch, operations, logistics, consumer branding, team engagement, and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a continuous positive force within the market, creating strong morale and spirit throughout the team.
  • Develop a team of Customer Advocates by providing feedback, conducting performance check-ins, and setting goals to improve performance and skill set.
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments using organizational tools and programs.
  • Generate and monitor regular reports, presenting to upper management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in a customer-facing team environment.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Prior experience with strategic planning, process improvement, and guiding teams to exceed goals.

This role requires excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to diagnose and solve problems, and willingness to work on weekends.
