Summary
Job Description
The purpose of this position is to cost-effectively drive non-media lead generation and local awareness through the local Direct Marketing Programs (Canvassing) while managing to a set spend and lead budget.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manages a team of Direct Marketing Associates (canvassers) with a direct hands-on approach, provides motivation and coaching to help team reach daily, weekly and monthly goals.
- Recruits, hires, train Direct Marketing Associates (DMA) through cost effective recruiting tools including partnering with Talent Acquisition team when appropriate
- Oversees all DMA field activities, including in field & office training, role playing, daily meetings, field supervision and motivating team members.
- Create and develop the culture of the local Proximity Marketing team, through personal role modeling desired behaviors and techniques with a heavy focus on role playing company methodology.
- Monitors and coaches every team member in the field to ensure they are following proper procedures, scripts and customer service guidelines.
- Administrative tasks include: coordinating canvass logistics with mapping and tracking using company software and apps, permit logistics, script and flyer maintenance, verifying/validating leads gathered during each shift.
- Provides information to managers, general managers, sales managers, and subordinates on neighborhoods and cities where Renewal by Andersen¿s products and services can be demonstrated with the intent of generating qualified leads and appointments

Qualifications And Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) A college degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within canvassing or face-to-face marketing programs. Proven ability to develop, motivate, and lead high-performing teams to achieve sales targets.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional training programs, effectively coach and mentor individuals, and inspire and guide teams towards achieving goals. Strong coaching skills to empower and develop team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and strong analytical skills with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to think strategically, anticipate challenges, and develop effective solutions to achieve long-term goals. Possess the ability to analyze market trends, audience insights, and performance data to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, utilize time management techniques, and manage budgets to maximize efficiency and achieve financial objectives.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a safe driving record is mandatory for this position.
Physical Requirements Summary
- Must be walk 3-5 miles per day
- Must be able to stand 8 hours per day.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $55,994-$86,791 plus incentives.

- PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
