We’re looking for a **FRESH & FUN ** enthusiastic Social Media and Communications Coordinator who has a passion for keeping up on all things social.

  • *Skills Required**:
  • Solid knowledge of marketing and social media concepts with a strong business sense
  • Creative outlook with ability to follow brand guidelines and cater to target market
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to pitch and express ideas clearly while working as part of a dynamic team
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and generate new ideas to advance the Urban Tactical brand
  • Experience planning, preparing and executing off-site events, trade shows and in-store sales
  • Demonstrated capability to work under pressure, meet tight timelines and change gears based on new business priorities
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
  • Confident, dynamic and flexible personality
  • *Detailed Description**:
  • Write, edit and schedule daily content for social media to engage and attract followers.
  • Develop a digital editorial calendar and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate and execute all external events (i.e. tradeshows, sponsorships, etc.) including maintaining relationships, developing schedules, delegating tasks, assembling materials and event follow-up
  • Prepare reports, statistics, updates and proposals for new ventures to present in monthly Marketing Meetings
  • Continuously learn about products, industry advancements, promotions from brands we carry/competitors and current events that affect our business. Participate in online training, classes and webinars to further knowledge
  • *Qualifications**:
  • Current knowledge of marketing and communications with a special interest in social media, content marketing and digital communications.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing messages to engage and delight our employees and customers
  • Strong Computer skills
  • Outgoing and friendly
  • Story teller
  • Degree or diploma in graphic design or fine arts from recognized institution; Degree or diploma in Business Administration or Marketing considered an asset
  • Minimum three (3) years developing strategies, creating campaigns and posting content
  • Applicant must submit portfolio of completed work to showcase ability
  • Experience managing websites with Wordpress, Magento and FTP so
  • Experienced managing integrated marketing projects.
